1. Information You Provide

• Email Address— Collected when you sign in using an email verification code or Google Sign-In. Used to create and manage your account and to send you emails about your purchases.
• Name— Collected through Google Sign-In or when you edit your profile. Used to personalize your experience.
• Purchase Information— When you buy a course, we keep a record of what you bought, when, the amount paid, and any discount code used, so we can give you access to your courses.

2. Signing In with Google

If you use Google Sign-In, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us. We do not receive access to anything else in your Google account. See Google's Privacy Policy.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our servers and we never store it. Stripe shares a transaction identifier and your purchase details with us so we can grant you access to what you bought. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

4. Analytics and Measurement

Sentry— Error monitoring runs on every page visit regardless of cookie preference — it is how we catch and fix site-breaking bugs. If something breaks, we receive a technical error report; when you are signed in, it is tagged with your account so we can help if you report a problem. Replay data in error reports is masked.

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, the following tools do not load. If you accept:

• Google Analytics— Anonymous usage statistics such as pages viewed and actions taken. We do not send Google Analytics your email address or name.
• Meta (Facebook)— We use Meta's tools to measure how well our advertising works, including page views, checkouts, and purchases. When you make a purchase, we also send Meta a hashed (scrambled) version of your email address and name so Meta can match the purchase to our ad campaigns. We use this for ad measurement. We do not sell your personal information.
• PostHog— Usage analytics and session replay, which reconstructs how visitors move through the site so we can find and fix confusing pages. Replays mask what you type and the text on the page. When you are signed in, this data is associated with your account.

5. Email

We use Klaviyo to send email. Klaviyo stores your email address, name, and purchase history on our behalf. We send transactional emails about your purchases and account. Marketing email is separate: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your course access. See Klaviyo's Privacy Notice.

6. Customer Support

Support conversations run through Help Scout, which stores your email address, name, and message history so our team can help you. See Help Scout's Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies

• Essential cookies— Keep you signed in (a short-lived session cookie and a longer refresh cookie lasting up to 30 days). The site cannot work without these.
• Experiment cookies— We sometimes show different versions of a page to different visitors to learn what works best; a cookie remembers which version you saw.
• Your consent choice— Stored in your browser so we do not ask again on every visit.

8. Infrastructure

The website runs on Vercel. Account and purchase data are stored on Amazon Web Services. Course videos are delivered by Mux. These providers process data solely to run the service for us.

10. Children's Privacy

YousicPlay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by emailing support@yousicplay.com. We respond to every request within 30 days.
• Correct your information through your account settings or by contacting us
• Delete your account and associated data by contacting us at support@yousicplay.com
• Decline analytics cookieswhen asked on your first visit; the site works fully without them. To change a previously accepted choice, clear your browser's local storage for this site.
• Unsubscribe from marketing email with one click in any marketing message

12. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the website or via email. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
